Type of Project- Whole House Remodel

Location- SW Oklahoma City

Year of Construction- 1996

Original Goals for this Project:  Totally update the look of the residence, both on the interior and exterior, relocate interior walls as necessary to make existing space more useful & functional and finally design a new pitched roof that would be worry free for years to come.

Living Room, Before
One of our first impressions of the interior of this home was the lack of use of the existing Patio Room (just off of the Living Room as shown in this photo).  Notice in the after photo how we have incorporated this space into the new Living Room.

Living Room, After
In our design we replaced the corner fireplace, eliminated the cathedral ceiling with its dark beams, created a bookcase/ entertainment center and removed the wall dividing this room from the existing Patio Room.  Has our design hit the target?  Our Client's believe it has, and we hope you will agree.

Kitchen, After
In this photo, a dark and cramped Kitchen, made even more so by the upper bar cabinet that sharply restricts the feel of open space between the Breakfast Area and the Kitchen.

Kitchen, After
Lighter Stain on the new cabinets, much improved lighting and the removal of that old upper bar cabinet, these are some of the most important changes made, well, what do you think?

Master Bath, Before
This home originally had a large Guest Bath and a small Master Bath, this was a common theme in homes built pre 1980.  Because of the extensive remodeling we were doing at this residence we elected to relocate walls so as to dedicate additional space to the Master Bath.

Master Bath, After
Glass block window, beautiful jetted bathtub, glass enclosed shower His and Hers vanity with a make up area, all the before mentioned and of course updated color scheme.

Exterior, Before
This Spanish/Mediterranean look which was very popular in the 60,s to early 70's, had one major draw back which didn't become apparent until a few years later this being the core of the roof system was essentially flat and flat roofs can be prone to leaking.

Exterior, After
Our design for this project included a fully pitched roof with beautifully placed cedar beams to enhance the Entry and all new exterior lighting.
