Type of Project- 2nd Story Addition 2-Bedrooms, Game Room, Full Bath & 3/4 Bath

Location- NW Oklahoma City

Year of Construction- 1991

This project was featured on the cover of the Real Estate Magazine, in the Daily Oklahoman (February 22, 1992)

Original Goals for this Project: Create extra Bedrooms for the extended family, also include a Game Room and ample Bathroom facilities for this project.  All of this with the realization that the in-ground pool already consumes the majority of the backyard so this additional space will have to come from an Upstairs Addition.

Notice how in the center section of this photo we created a brick archway for the Entry of this residence then continued the brick up to blend the Game Room portion of this Addition with the existing 1st floor facade.

At left, the Homeowner's existing Living Room just previous to the new staircase and balcony being installed.

The existing ceiling has been raised to allow room for the 2nd Story Balcony (the sheetrock directly above the existing bookcase represents the old ceiling line).  Also notice how the space beneath the new staircase was utilized for a built-in audio system.

This photo is taken from the top of the staircase, looking both down into the existing Living Room and across the 2nd Story's Game Room and on into one of the Bedrooms of this Addition.
